A glitch (or bug) is an error in the coding of a game causing parts of the game to act differently to the way they were designed. Sometimes, this will result in a major advantage to a player (such as gaining extra experience in a skill or winning a game) and may be abused by players. Because Stellar Dawn will be brand new, it is likely that there will be a lot of glitches. Although, a closed beta is planned, and Jagex will likely fix any reported bugs before the official release in 2011.
There are two ways to report a bug:
- Go to the main page, click Help > Submit a bug report
- Go to Submit a Bug Report on the Forums
Players abusing or taking advantage of a serious glitch should be reported under Rule 4: Bug Abuse. Players caught exploiting serious glitches may find themselves banned, as has been the case with previous serious bugs.
