Mortiga concept art
The Mortiga are a race of creatures that will appear in Stellar Dawn. This is one of four races that players will be able to play as in Stellar Dawn.[1] The other three races are Humans, the Pliigi, and an unnamed other quite possibly being Mechs. Images of Mortiga creatures can be seen in some of the concept art drawn by Darren B. The word "Mortiga" is Esperanto for "deadly".
The Mortiga seem to be based on rocks and a core that resides within their bodies, which might be their brain. They may also have special powers upon examination of Concept Art, as some of their body parts are are free-floating.
